The Story of NANOVIS – Part 2: PB Swisstools AG

Quality Never Goes Out of Date.

In the first part of our series, we shared how the story of NANOVIS began with the NANOCLEANER NC-350. Now, we would like to introduce the companies that continue to rely on these machines to this day.

Our first visit took us to PB Swiss Tools AG, located in the beautiful Emmental region of Switzerland.

What makes this company truly remarkable is its impressive history. Founded in 1878 as a small village blacksmith’s workshop in Wasen im Emmental, it evolved over generations—from forging horseshoes and metalwork to manufacturing military gloves—into a company that is now internationally recognised for Swiss quality and precision in hand tools.

During our visit, it quickly became clear that these values are still deeply embedded in the company culture.

We are especially proud that a NANOCLEANER NC-350 has been in daily operation at PB Swiss Tools for around 11 years. Built in 2009, this machine is one of the early models in the history of NANOVIS.

Patrick Läng acquired the machine as a pre-owned system and continues to use it successfully for cleaning pad printing equipment.

Our visit clearly demonstrated that PB Swiss Tools and NANOVIS share the same core values: quality, durability, and products that are designed and built to last for decades—not just for a few years.
