Nanovis wins ZKB special prize for exemplary small company

We are very proud about the special prize for exemplary small business, which we received yesterday evening from the Zürcher Kantonalbank (a swiss bank) in Spreitenbach. A big thank you goes to all our employees who made all this possible. You are the best!

The winners of the ZKB Award 2019 are:

1st place, 50’000 CHF: Türenfabrik Brunegg AG, Brunegg (AG)
2nd place, 40’000 CHF: Diebold & Zgraggen Gartenbau AG, Fislisbach (AG)
3rd place, 30’000 CHF: Wyon AG, Appenzell Steinegg (AI)

Global Award for Sustainability

The NANOCLEANER NWC-1200 was nominated by the jury for this year’s Innovation Award Global Award for Sustainability. The final winner was announced on the evening of 24 September in Brussels, on the first day of the Labelexpo 2013. Finally Avery Dennison has won the award. NANOVIS shared the briliant second place with Spear Europe. The sustainability award was for a specific sustainable product or process by a supplier/converter company in the label industry introduced during 2012. This can refer to either a product (for example a new press, ink or substrate) or a process (new methods of working in a more sustainable way).

Judges were looking for a company that had introduced a specific product or process and maintained the most sustainable and environmentally acceptable working practices into their purchasing and manufacturing operations and can demonstrate key materials, production and performance or consumer benefits. The award was handed over at a gala dinner at Labelexpo 2013.

De Vigier Award for young entrepreneurs

Together with the Swiss start- ups Advanced Metal Technology, Epithelix, G&M E-Filter und Joysteer, Nanovis received the the W.A. de Vigier Award, which ist worth CHF 100,000.-.

The award, was founded in 1987 by William A. de Vigier, who unfortunately died in 2003. It enables the start-up of young entrepreneurs. In Switzerland, this is the highest-priced sponsorship prize for young entrepreneurs. The De Vigier Foundation grants up to half a million Swiss francs start-up capital per year and participates in the share capital of the young entrepreneurs.

European Environmental Press Awards

NANOVIS has been selected to receive the Gold Award (1st Price) of the European Environmental Press (EEP) Award at Pollutec, the largest French environmental trade show in Paris. The Silver Award went to SkySails from Germany and the Bronze Award to Maklad-Fluid from Austria.

The EEP Award (European Environmental Press Award) has been announced this year for the fifth time by the European Environmental Press (EEP) and by the European Federation of Associations of Environmental Professionals (EFAEP). The awards ceremony took place at the international trade show Pollutec (27 to 30 November 2007) in Paris. An international independent jury selected the three best out of 72 projects from all over Europe for the gold, silver, and bronze prices, which also included a free booth at the Pollutec trade fair.

CTI Start-up Label

In December 2006 NANOVIS was awarded for the CTI Start-up Label by the Swiss CTI (Commission for Technology and Innovation). CTI is the Confederation’s innovation promotion agency. For the past sixty years, it has fostered knowledge and technology transfer between companies and universities by bringing them together as partners on applied research and development projects. CTI also provides assistance to start-up companies.

CTI Start-up is an initiative of the Innovation Promotion Agency CTI. It was initiated in 1996 and enables entrepreneurs to realise their innovative business idea quicker and and more professionally. Until now, more than 1’800 projects have been reviewed and 180 received the CTI Start-up-Label.
